Awesome moment from our first trip to Memphis, TN at the suggestion of Gaye Adegbalola during the 30th Annual Blues Awards in May of 2009! She took us over to the Mollie Fontaine Lounge where Di Anne Price holds residency on the piano a couple of night a week!

Di Anne Price graciously gave up her mic and piano for a jam session and here we caught ‘Sleepy Eyed’ JohnJay freestyling some blues with pianist Roddy Barnes and a local violinst! We had such a great time there with Miz A & most of The Freedom Band that night that we’ve been back to visit Di Anne Price every time we’ve been back to Memphis!
