THE BUSH LEAGUE HOMECOMING 2012!!!

_

So you all have heard the story; JohnJay and Royce are sitting on JohnJay’s front porch, Royce with newly acquired Black Betty in hand plucking notes and JohnJay singing songs decide to see how this would do on a stage.  JohnJay finds out that there is an Open Mic happening at the top of Shockoe Bottom at Poe’s Pub, hosted by the one and only Jim Daab!  They eventually run into Shane there and the rest is history!

-

It’s been three years since they’ve stepped on this stage, and with the group revving up for the release of their first studio album Can Of Gas & A Match in December, this night is sure to be one not to miss!!!

This was our second (2nd) appearance on River City Limits: 1st Saturdays with Albert Green, our first time was on August 4, 2012!  We were so thankful for the chance to come back and perform tracks from our upcoming CD, Can Of Gas And A Match live on-air!  WRIR is a %100 completely volunteer run low power radio station operating in the city limits of Richmond, VA.  At a maximum broadcasting strength of 100 watts, this flagship station has a clear broadcast radius of about 5 miles and has online listeners around the world!  For those of you that caught us here locally in Richmond, VA on 97.3 FM or streaming live at wrir.org and called in for the CD and shotglass, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!  For those of you that didn’t catch it, check this out!!!

And here is a collage of pictures from that day with the full audio of the performance from that day; the battery died on the video during the fourth of the six songs that we did that day!  Thank you again to WRIR, to Albert Green for having us back on his show and to Jay Westermann, the sound engineer for the day!  Thank you for helping us spread the good word!
