So we set up the tent keeping in mind the storms that happened two years ago; luckily not one drop of rain fell this year though, just lots of heat!!! With the 10’x10′ canopy in front of the tent, 2 coolers, a 6 foot table, a propane powered two-burner and a bunch of extra chairs our space was quickly dubbed ‘The Blue Hilton’ for our hospitality! After getting everything set up for our 3 day stay (minus Kenya, who opted for a real hotel nearby!) Brad went up to the Campground Stage for the After Workshop Jam. Most of the guitar workshop participants and instructors filled the jam but a few of the harmonica players joined in later!

I could talk about some of the performances that I saw but I videoed few of them and shared a couple of them below because it’s so much better to see for yourself…
After the jam we got some more supplies from the local WalMart and then hunkered down for the night. We had an early day on Friday; there was a little detour from this year’s picnic a little ways north that was planned out and ended up being well worth the short trip! More on that next time!
