On-Air Performance on WRIR’s “The Other Black Music” Radio Show

Every other Sunday on 97.3 LPFM WRIR – Richmond Independent Radio from 3pm – 5pm “The Other Black Music” radio show hosted by DJ Graybeard shows that there is more to ‘Black Music’ than Hip-Hop, Top 40, Oldies and Smooth Jazz by showcasing Blues, new and old Funk/Soul, Zydeco, Black Country, Afro-pop, Latin, Caribbean, Rock and much, much more!

The Bush League sat down with DJ Graybeard and even played a few favorites acoustically (Mississippi Fred McDowell‘s Kokomo Me Baby, Moonshine, T-Model Ford‘s Ask Her For Water, Tuxedo Blues and What’s Wrong With You) while we talk about The Bush League, our music and our influences! You can’t hear us talk when the DJ’s mic is on but you can hear the entire two hour broadcast of DJ Graybeard’s “The Other Black Music” here: wrir.org/listen?show=201806031500.
