On August 28, 2016 The Bush League won the opportunity to represent the Central Virginia Blues Society at the 33rd International Blues Challenge 2017 in Memphis, TN beginning January 31, 2017. Part of our prize was recording time at Azurat in Montebello, VA. So on November 6th we trekked up to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway to cut some track with Ari Morris behind the board.
Since the time of the recording Michael has joined Shaun Peace and his band which is a great opportunity for him. We have known Shaun since 2011 and the days of our open mic at Current and we wish both he and Michael all the success in the world.
We had every intention of making this song the lead track off of our soon to be completed second studio record so we are releasing the track as it was recorded on the sunny Sunday afternoon in the mountains.
This is how we want to begin our 10th year of The Bush League…but there is much more to come. Stay Tuned…
